The Royal Tour
Granada, Spain is a city best known for the magnificent fortress/palace Alhambra complex. But the city easily offers enough to do for another day or two.
The Royal Chapel holds the remains of Ferdinand and Isabella, and has a lovely audio tour. It is beautiful inside, though photos are not allowed.
The Sacromonte area of Granada has caves that were once (and some still are) dwellings of the local Gypsy population.
Granada's Alcaiceria is an old marketplace from Muslim times. The alleys are wonderful to wander, and don't miss the spice shops!
If you see this sign in Granada, it is not false advertising. They really are that good.
