The Royal Tour
Iguazu Falls is one of the true wonders of the world. Larger than Niagara, it sits on the Iguazu River, forming the border between Brazil and Argentina.
Iguazu Falls is actually a huge system of waterfalls stretching over miles. The majority of the water goes over this, Devil’s Throat.
The remainder goes over a vast horseshoe. The horseshoe is entirely on the Argentine side, so it makes for better access, while across in Brazil would allow for better panoramas.
Both Devil’s Throat and the horseshoe are accessible via walkways like this, which take visitors over parts of the Iguazu River and even some of the cascades themselves.
If you’re lucky, some of Iguazu Falls’ natives might even join you.
For a different view, take a boat tour, which gets up close and personal with a few of the horseshoe cascades, even going INTO one.
